Hey, what’s that mask you wear?
Is it to conceal your fears?
Of what you are inside,
Is so dangerous, that you’ve to hide.
Virtuous you appear;
Impersonating your superiority,
What if they discover;
The falseness of your glory.
Criticism reveals what you lack,
Bad things you say behind their back.
Defaming others, doing mockery;
Is a display of your jealousy.
Layers upon layers;
Beneath lies your real personality,
I’m amazed that you aren’t fed up,
Putting up this play of hypocrisy.
Just wrote this today, a little wordy poem. Expecting positive response. Constructive criticism is welcomed.
